The Board Member Institute (BMI) is Boardified’s signature program for board members of Jewish communal organizations.

About the Board Member Institute

Applications for Cohort 6 are now closed. Through our customized curriculum and expert instruction, participants will master the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their role and the Jewish sector. Delivered in partnership with Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management, the BMI live virtual cohort experience will take place October 2021 – May 2022. Learn more here.

This year, we are excited to offer a Jews of Color Affinity Group and a Women’s Leadership Affinity Group. Affinity Groups will come together for three 90-minute supplementary sessions led by an expert facilitator. These sessions will be designed around the participants’ unique leadership experiences and explore their opportunities and challenges.

Receive 30 hours of highly practical curriculum that combines executive education, cohort learning, and meaningful applied learning experiences.

Affinity Groups

Participate in small group discussion with peers facilitated by leadership experts. Additional affinity groups will be determined based on interest.

Receive a Kellogg Nonprofit Executive Education Certificate upon completion of the program.

Unlock priority access to continued development opportunities, Boardified resources, and networking with leaders across North America.

Applications for Cohort 6 are now closed. The BMI Selection Committee has reviewed applications and notified applicants of their acceptance in September. Upon acceptance to the program, applicants are responsible for paying their $1,000 tuition deposit to guarantee enrollment.
